If you speak Greek (which I don’t), you will know that this is a little bit of information about who I am. I am a mom and my daughter’s name is Emylin. She is an animal lover, writer, and the neatest person I have ever met in my whole life. I am a wife and my husband’s name is Todd. He is a computer administrator, a musician, and he bakes really great breads. I am a teacher at Mtn. View Elementary where I teach third grade. I love, love, love the children and hate, hate, hate EOGs. I used to be trader for a money managment firm (I don’t know why because I hate finance and stress). After having Emylin and well on the path to a mid-life crisis, I decided to be a teacher. I graduated from ASU and my favorite instructor was Dr. Dale. I have two pet rats, a tarantula and hermit crabs. I like spiders, bats, and wolves. When I have had a bad day, I knit and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My dream is to dismantle the educational system as we know it and co-create a system of schools that guide children through a learning process that helps them become who they are going to become.
